Virginia Chandler Pennock of Catonsville, Md.
Virginia Chandler Pennock, 85, formerly of Bethany Beach and Wilmington, Del., passed away on May 17, 2012. Born in Kennett Square, she was a graduate of Kennett Square High, and Mary Washington College. She was predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Joseph T. Pennock, in 1998. Survivors include her daughters, Cathy Sigalas (Michael) of Shenandoah Junction W. Va., Nancy Sager (Tom) of Wilmington, Del. and Lisa Rossberg (Tom), of Ellicott City, Md. She is further survived by six grandchildren, Christopher Runde of Perry Hall, Md., Andrew Sager of Wilmington, Zack Sager also of Wilmington, Casey Rossberg of Washington, D.C., Michael Rossberg of Ellicott City, Md., and Emily Rossberg, also of Ellicott City, Md. Two great-grandchildren also survive her, along with her sister, Margaret Shoemaker, of Kennett Square. Services and burial will be private.
